The internal inside of the Ningbo Museum is composed of four departments of the exhibition area, service area, treasury area, and comprehensive governance zone. It is imported from the east and is divided into two departments: internal governance zone in the south and public open areas in the north. The middle part is set up to make the center of the museum get light.
Because the museum cannot determine the exhibition content of the exhibition halls during the design of the museum, Wang Yan has designed a number of paths that combine the heights and escalators, which can adapt to various visits methods. The center hall in the open area is 24 meters high, plus different forms of space forming a multi -level, changing spatial effect. The flow design uses various exhibition halls as nodes to attract audiences to make diverse choices.
For cultural relics, a dedicated transportation channel is set up to ensure the safety of cultural relics transportation.
